The Zouks went about their run chase with a flurry of boundaries as Johnson Charles the man of the match scored a quick 41 off 23 balls with 3- fours and 3- sixes. He was assisted by their Captain Kevin Pietersen who took over from the injured Darren Sammy. A six was hit by Taylor ending the hopes of all Red Steel fans.

An excited Pietersen said he was happy with his team performance as they need the points from this game to secure their chances of making it to the next rounds while a defeated Bravo said he took full responsibility for his team’s loss and it was difficult to grip the damp ball while bowling. He said there should be no excuses and he hoped his team will bounce back in their next game.
