ATP Finals 2019 champion Stefanos Tsitsipas aims to end the dominance of the ‘Big Three’ of tennis in the year 2020. He is working towards gatecrashing in ATP’s top-three column that Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, and Novak Djokovic have sealed it for more than a decade and a half.

“One of my goals for next year would be a Grand Slam title, finishing in the top three by the end of the year, making the Nitto Finals again and winning a Masters 1000,” Tsitsipas told reporters in Abu Dhabi. This year in August the 21-year-old Tsitsipas reached the career-high ranking of World Number five.

He is determined to take that extra mile to add a Slam title to his name and end the ever-lasting ascendency of Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic.

This year Tsitsipas attained victories over Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic. He defeated Federer on the courts of Melbourne and London, Nadal in Madrid and Djokovic in Shanghai. Not just Tsitsipas the other NextGen icon Dominic Thiem has also surpassed the three goliaths of tennis on the ATP courts.
