Sunrisers Hyderabad takes to Twitter for a big announcement. Earlier today, the franchise posted a video of David Warner where he addresses his fans about IPL 2020.

Return of Sunrisers Hyderabad former captain

The video explains that Sunrisers Hyderabad’s captaincy goes to David Warner this season.

Kane Williamson will be stepping down as captain of the team. In fact, previously Warner was the captain until the sandpaper scandal. However, he is back as a captain again ready to lead Hyderabad to the win. Warner explained how thrilled he is to be the captain of the team again.

“I’m thrilled to be given the captaincy for this coming IPL in 2020. I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity once again to lead the team.”

Additionally, he expressed great admiration for Williamson and Kumar for being the leaders during his absence. He said that he will definitely be leaning on these two fine players for guidance and support throughout the season. Finally, he thanks the team’s management for giving him this opportunity once again.

“Thank you very much for once again giving me this opportunity and I’ll be doing my very, very best in trying to lead us to lifting that IPL trophy once again.”

SRH: The well-built all-rounder Team

This team is already prepared with a great players. Furthermore, even before the IPL auction of 2020, SRH had their team members figured out.

Sunrisers Hyderabad is a team with proper balance between the batting and bowling department. The batting side has players like Kane Williamson, Jonny Bairstow, and David Warner. On the other hand, the bowling department is made up of players such as Rashid Khan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and Sandeep Sharma.

The IPL auction of 2020 was more of an opportunity for the team to fill the existing gaps. Therefore, the franchise bought only two international players at their base prices. The two players are Australia’s all-rounder Mitchell Marsh and West Indies left-arm spinner Fabian Allen. These two players will definitely contributing in adding further value to the team.
