Former India speedster Zaheer Khan has been playing in the Abu Dhabi T10 League currently where his excellent spell of two overs left the opponents struggling. But his effort went in vain as they failed to restrict their opponents. He bowled two yorkers to dismiss the batsmen who were playing pretty well to steer Qalandars to the finish line.

While batting first, Bulls lost wickets in a regular interval and was reduced to 46 for 6 in the seventh over. However, the major damage was done by Afghanistan off-spinner Mujeeb-ur-Rahman and English pacer George Garton, both of them bagged two wickets each. On the other hand, Mohammad Nabi smashed three fours and four sixes to score a quickfire 48 off 21 balls.

While chasing, Qalandars lost their opener Philip Salt in the very first Nabi provided with the first breakthrough to the team. Zaheer Khan came into the attack in the 3rd over. He bowled Laurie Evans in the very first ball with a straightaway delivery which was completely missed by the batsman. The ball went under his bat to smash the stumps and he was dismissed for 11 off 7.

He struck again in the penultimate delivery of his first over when he dismissed Trego. This time it was a knuckle-ball which did the trick. Trego came down the track to play the ball but was early for that. The ball dips and went under the bat to hit the stump and he fell for 3 off 3. However, the target of 99 proved to be an easy chase for Qalandars as they reached the target with one ball to spare despite losing wickets at a regular interval.
