Brandon Ingram was born in Kinston, North Carolina on September 2, 1997. He was named as North Carolina’s Mr. Basketball during his High school days. He won state titles in each of the four years there. Ingram managed similar success in his one year of college basketball with Duke, where was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Rookie of the Year.
In 2016, he declared himself eligible for the NBA Draft. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers with the second overall pick. After playing three seasons with Lakers, he moved to New Orleans Pelicans before the start of the 2019/20 NBA season.
