Carson Hocevar's journey in NASCAR is definitely one for history books. The 21-year-old driver who currently competes in the NASCAR Cup Series broke the norm when he jumped from the Truck Series to the top division in one giant leap. He is currently signed to Spire Motorsports.
Carson Hocevar was born on January 28, 2003, to Scott and Amy Hocevar. He is from Michigan and graduated from the Gull Lake High School in 2021. Hocevar has been around racetracks since his early days, courtesy of his father who used to work as a crew member and also sponsor local teams. However, Hocevar's professional racing career started at just seven years old when he began competing in quarter midgets. He then moved to the ARCA Menards Series before finally making his debut in the Truck Series in 2019.
Carson Hocevar has been reported to be in a relationship with Super Late Model driver Peyton Lanphear. She was unfortunately diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin lymphoma in 2022 and entered remission in December that year.
According to reports, Hocevar is reportedly worth around $3 million.
The driver has been associated with a racetrack since he was just seven years old. He debuted in quarter midgets in 2010, where he won 15 national championships and 79 feature races. Soon, the driver moved to the ARCA Menards Series and showed blistering performances with nine Top-10s and two pole positions. Finally, the Spire Motorsports driver ventured into NASCAR through the Truck Series and debuted at the 2019 Eldora Dirt Derby. Then, in 2023, the driver moved to the Xfinity Series and ran his first race in the division at the Circuit of the Americas, where he finished P36 owing to a brake failure.
Carson Hocevar is sponsored by Berger Chevrolet, Scott's, Premier Security Solutions, Johnny Benson Racecars, GM PartsNow, Precision Fleet Image, HD Five, McGungill Engines, VanDoorn Racing Development, Delaware Life and Applebee's Grill & Bar.
