Rafael Nadal has bagged 19 Grand Slam singles titles to his name. This places him firmly in second on the all-time list behind Roger Federer’s record of 20 majors. Nadal has also claimed a record 35 Masters 1000 titles, with only Novak Djokovic trailing him. The Spaniard has made an appearance in 27 Grand Slam finals, second only to Federer’s record of 31 finals.

Rafael Nadal’s Endorsements

He has been named the global ambassador for automobile giant, Kia Motors. South Korea’s second-largest automobile manufacturer has been sponsoring him since 2006.

Also, American clothing and footwear company, Nike, sponsor Nadal as well. Spanish biscuits and bakery manufacturer, Quely also made him its international ambassador in 2010.

Nadal sports a luxury watch from Richard Mille as part of the endorsement deal. Other endorsement partners are Emporio Armani, Babolat, Telefonica, Banco Sabadell, Tommy Hilfiger, Cantabria Labs, Mapfre and more. He has a sumptuous car collection and luxurious home in Mallorca, Spain.

He also has expensive villas in Porto Cristo in Spain & the Dominican Republic. He likes to spend his holidays in his villas and luxurious yachts.

According to Forbes, Nadal is ranked 37th globally and fourth in terms of highest-paid tennis players. His total earnings aggregate to $37.3 million, which includes his salary of $4.3 million and his endorsements pay him $33 million. With his tennis racquet, Nadal has earned $110,279,818 as prize money in his career.

Foundation and Charity Work

The Rafa Nadal Foundation was set up in 2008 to help Nadal and his family provide aid to socially disadvantaged youngsters who run the risk of exclusion by society.

Projects undertaken by the foundation include the Rafa Nadal Foundation Center in Spain. The Spaniard has even gone global with the Anantapur Education Center in India.

World Number two has also launched various scholarships to aid socially disadvantaged youth.
