Leroy Sane was heavily linked for a move in summer to Bundesliga champions, Bayern Munich. Though nothing was materialised early on in the window, and his injury in August ended Bayern’s interest in him. Recent reports have suggested that Leroy Sane might not be keen for a move to Bundesliga anymore. Though he still wants to leave Premier League champions Manchester City. If the 24-year-old does put in a transfer request, he’s sure to attract a lot of interest from a host of clubs. His contract is also over in the next summer.
Though, Bayern Munich CEO, Karl-Heinz RummeniggeIf has again fueled interest in Leroy Sane. He was quoted saying, “If we are still interested in principle, which I do not rule out, we will first talk to the club in order to create a friendly atmosphere of conversation.”
This is one of those high profile transfer sagas which will continue to rumble on for a while. The deal between Leroy Sane and Bayern Munich has become complicated, which has made it interesting to see where the German ends up this summer.
