Did Tony Ferguson just let out a big hit that could reveal his next opponent?
While most fighters are finding it difficult to score just one match, Tony Ferguson might be inches away from securing his second fight for the year. With rumors flying all over the place, Ferguson took to social media to drop what we are taking as a hint. A hint of who he might be taking on in the octagon next.
His first fight of the year ended his 8-year-long undefeated streak. Ferguson was originally scheduled to take on Khabib Nurmagomedov in a bout that has a history of cancellations and postponements.

Looks like 5th time wasn’t the charm! This fight fell through due to the travel bans that were in place because of the global pandemic.
Justin Gaethje stepped up as Khabib’s replacement. In an absolutely dominating display of skill and precision, Gaethje ended Ferguson’s unbeaten streak and laid claim to the interim champ’s position as well.
Gaethje will now take on Khabib at UFC 254 for the undisputed lightweight title.
This loss didn’t push Ferguson too far down the ranks. He is still well and truly afloat and probably just one fight away from another shot at the title.
Tony Ferguson with his next fight will be looking to re-establish his position in the division and get back to winning ways.
