Steam, from Valve Corp., is probably the biggest marketplace for video game titles on PC. To become a chartbuster on Steam is a big achievement for games. The pandemic situation this year saw many titles rise to huge popularity, including some older titles as well. As a result, the current list of titles topping the sales chart on this platform is an odd mix.

Here is the list of titles that are leading the Steam sales, as of last weekend on the 25th of October.
Top 5 titles leading the Steam sales chart this month
This title has been receiving a lot of attention since its release. A horror RPG dealing with ghost hunts, this game has taken the creepy quotient up a notch. Will it go down in history as a legend along with titles like Five Nights at Freddie’s? Looks like it just might.
Cyberpunk 2077 Pre-Order
CP2077 is perhaps the most-anticipated title of this year. The upcoming open-world RPG from CD Projekt RED has grabbed the attention of the entire gaming community ever since it was announced. The fact that the pre-order for this title has already topped charts on Steam is proof of the hype surrounding this game.
Now, this one is not a surprise. This 2018 title rose to huge popularity during this pandemic situation. Among Us has gone on to get over 30 million hours of watch time on Twitch. However, presently its popularity seems to be on a slight decline.
The Outer Worlds- Steam Sales
This 2019 title has already become the #4 on the sales charts following its official release on the platform. The Nintendo Switch version of this action RPG from Obsidian Entertainment released this year as well, in the month of June.
The Outer Worlds is no doubt one of the most interesting games based on an alternate timeline, and the fact that it earned this position with 2 days of sales goes on to further prove that.
Baldur’s Gate 3
The tabletop RPG was expected to be a huge success since its release earlier this month. Baldur’s Gate 3 received such huge popularity due to the cult following of Dungeons and Dragons, the tabletop game that serves as an inspiration to the Baldur’s Gate series. However, the game initially ranked #3 on the sales charts. Looks like something has caused its popularity to decline.
Now to see how the games set to release next month perform on the platform, in terms of sales figures.
