A historic victory for the Afghanistan cricket team as they beat Bangladesh in Bangladesh only in their third test match.
During the course of the match, Rahmat Shah became the first man to score a century for Afghanistan. Asghar Afghan almost became the second in the same innings, but was dismissed for 92 as Afghanistan piled 342 in the first innings. Bangladesh were bowled out for just 205, and were left chasing a huge score in the second innings.
Eventually, Afghanistan beat Bangladesh by a comprehensive 224-run margin. Playing only their third test match, Afghanistan can be extremely proud of themselves. They are now the only team apart from Australia to win two out of their first three test matches.

Just brilliant from Afghanistan. Had 18.3 overs to get 4 wickets with 2 batsmen and did it with overs to spare. Magnificent game for @rashidkhan_19 but how good was everyone else. Their great story continues.

Bangladesh’s performance has been poor. They have been guilty of being over-confident and went into the game with a spin laden attack. Bangladesh Cricket Board president Nazmul Hasan hit out at the team for its performance.
