What a race. What a brilliant brilliant race. Contender for race of the year? Perhaps. Classic Brazilian Grand Prix twists? Oh yes. Max Verstappen took a challenging win ahead of the very surprising Pierre Gasly in P2 and Lewis Hamilton in P3 who is currently under investigation for an accident with Alex Albon. The Ferraris, fighting for P4 and P5 ended up colliding with each other in an utter disappointing manner. Naturally the effects of this are going to be monumental as the two have been involved in many controversies this season.
When the second safety car came, Lewis Hamilton ended up pitting putting Albon to P2. Putting fresh rubber, Hamilton quickly overtook Gasly for P3 and then went on to overtake Albon. But in the midst of this, ended up colliding with Albon, spinning the Red Bull and damaging his car thoroughly. He is under investigation and if he were to get a penalty, Carlos Sainz in P4 will get his first podium finish.
This podium will be a very big thing for Pierre Gasly who endured a very tough season with Red Bull in the first half. He was demoted to Toro Rosso right at the start of the summer break. However, he has shown incredible pace and form from the moment he joined Toro Rosso
