A 256-run stand between the Dhoni-Yuvi duo ensured that Virat Kohli could kick-off his limited overs captaincy career with a series win. After scoing 25-3, Yuvraj Singh’s maiden ODI 150 and MS Dhoni’s 134-run knock helped India to come out of the poorest of starts.

England skipper Eoin Morgan made one final stride to help his team avoid the series defeat, scoring 102 runs off 81 odd deliveries, before all his efforts went in vain and England lost the match by 15 runs.
