Virat Kohli scored his first T20 ton as Royal Challengers Banglore posted a total of 180 for 2 against Gujarat Lions at Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Rajkot in the 19th match of Indian Premier League 2016 on Sunday evening.
Banglore won the toss & opted to bat first. RCB lost their first wicket very early in the form of Shane Watson who was dismissed by Dhawal Kulkarni for a run-a-ball 6. Virat Kohli then steadied the ship with AB de Villiers with a 51-run partnership before De Villiers was dismissed by Tambe. Virat scored an unbeaten 100 off just 63 balls with a strike rate of 158.73, which included 11 fours & 1 six. Virat Kohli & Lokesh Rahul’s partnership of 121 runs took RCB’s total to 180 for 2.
