A Twitter User Claimed MS Dhoni was going to Leave Chennai Super Kings; CSK had a Fitting Reply

Chennai Super Kings, last week have released the list of players released and retained ahead of the 2020 IPL auction. Before the list was released, it was reported that the Super Kings would be releasing as many as five players from their squad. Even if the number was more, it would have made very little sense to even think that they would let their captain MS Dhoni go under any circumstances.

But a random person on twitter thought so (or at least he posted tweet suggesting it). A twitter post just before the released players were announced was suggesting Chennai Super Kings will be releasing Mahendra Singh Dhoni and he might say “goodbye Chennai” soon.

“As per close sources, CSK are planning to drop MSD tomorrow! Might be very well his way of saying ‘Goodbye Chennai,” a tweet from a twitter handle “mahibaun4u” on November 14 – a day before the list of released players were released- read.

The post actually caught the eye of many after a reply from the franchise. Chennai Super Kings made sure that the tweet was well noticed with a reply playing down the person’s claims.

“Time to say ‘Goodbye sources’!” a reply to the tweet from the official handle of Chennai Super Kings read on the same day.
