Electronic Arts’ UFC has been one of its dormant games. Back in October 2019, EA has announced that they will add a sports title to their 2020-2021 annual slate. The speculation was around PGA tour, NBA live, and UFC. But, seems like UFC 4 takes home the win as it is finally being revealed at UFC 251 Usman vs. Masvidal for the World Welterweight Championship.

This is where we got an unofficial confirmation that the game’s 4 installation was in the works. In June 2020, EA Play Live accidentally leaked plans for UFC 4.  They were inviting people for a closed beta launch. Once registered, you would be sent an email with download instructions and links.

Writer Brian Mazique had also revealed that Anthony Joshua and Tyson fury were both to make an appearance in UFC 4. Take a look at the video below to find out more:

UFC 3 did fairly well when it was released back in 2018. There was even a surprise where you could play as the legendary boxer, Mike Tyson. So it is highly likely that the news of Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury being in the game is real

The game will be released for Xbox One, PS4, Xbox Series X, and PS5. EA’s decision to reveal it on July 11 at the World Welterweight Championship could prove to be successful. The viewership will be off the charts and it would be the perfect setting.

Unlike the first UFC game, fans were really impressed with UFC 2 & 3. EA is the world’s biggest sports video game producer and is always expected to deliver. Hopefully, UFC 4 will bring something new to the table and continue to live up to the expectations.
