While Conor McGregor has cold-shouldered Paul in the past for calling him out, ‘The Problem Child’ suggested a scenario where ‘The Notorious‘ would not be able to avoid him.

The undefeated boxer said, “I think it’s like, okay, Jake Paul beats Nate then, you know, it just gets closer and closer to Conor not being able to duck me anymore.”

The former Disney star wants a boxing contest with Nathan Diaz, who will compete in his last contractual bout with the UFC against Khamzat Chimaev at the UFC 279 headliner.

Diaz and McGregor have a long history, having been involved in two of the biggest PPV sales (UFC 196 & UFC 202) in MMA history. Besides, the Stockton native beat the Irishman in their first bout. Thus, Paul, potentially, getting a jump over the 209 representative could be his ticket to a Conor McGregor showdown.
