‘The Boston Finisher’

Calvin Kattar is arguably one of the recent breakout stars that has positioned himself for a shot at undisputed gold. ‘The Boston Finisher’ has looked increasingly impressive, and his recent outings have included slick boxing from the get-go. His emphatic 5-round affair against Dan Ige sticks out as his most defining performance to date.

The stand-out fighter from Boston’s ‘New England Cartel’ has much more than just an effective jab and proficient takedown defense. He’ll have to be wary of tremendous bouts of volume that is sure to come his way during the 25-minutes. However, the accumulated damage over a 5-round fight will likely be his undoing against a pressure fighter like Holloway.
