Conor McGregor took a significant step forward in the combat sports sphere. He announced becoming one of the owners of one of the most exciting fight promotions, BKFC. This was a surprise announcement for sure, but the fans already started playing matchmakers for McGregor, believing that BKFC will be where he fights Nate Diaz. After hearing what the fans had to say, ‘The Notorious’ shared an interesting response.

Nate Diaz happened to walk into the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles to witness the fights at KnuckleMania 4. As soon as he caught the attention of the fans on social media, they started speculating about him fighting Conor McGregor sometime in the future.

When Conor McGregor caught wind of the fans’ comments on social media about a probable trilogy against Nate Diaz in the BKFC, he shared a story on Instagram, hinting at the price of the pay-per-view if he was to fight the Stockton native.

“Ppv $29.99,” wrote McGregor. This begs one to wonder if the highly-anticipated trilogy fight will really take place. There is a possibility now for the Irishman since he now has his own platform, where he’ll be able to promote his own fights. On that note, let us now turn our attention to the fans and see what they have to say about this potential trilogy bout.

Fans calling for Conor McGregor to fight Nate Diaz in BKFC

Some fans believe that there may be no other fight that can match the star power of the two aforementioned stars and it may very well be the most financially successful outing for the BKFC. As such, one fan said, “Diaz Vs Connor BKFC = Biggest ppv maybe ever.” While another said, “Conor nate 3 bkfc sweet.”

Similarly, there were others who wondered about the big trilogy fight, too. One fan asked, “McGregor just announced he’s now a part-owner of BKFC. Wonder if the trilogy fight will be bareknuckle?”

On the other hand, after looking at Nate Diaz’s facial expressions when he entered the Peacock Theatre, one fan speculated that McGregor’s announcement of becoming an owner of BKFC had triggered the Stockton native. He said, “He must be pissed about Connors announcement.”

Nevertheless, there were some fans who jibed at Nate Diaz for his striking skills and reminded him that this was not a place where fighters grapple with each other. “This aint jiujisu,” the fan stated.

Another fan claimed that Diaz may not last too long in a BKFC fight. “He would get knocked out in 5 seconds with his 60 percent punches.” But there was a section of UFC fans who did not fail to express how much of a fan they are of the former UFC fighter. One of the fans commented, “Dats one cool mf im forever a fan.”

There have been times when Conor McGregor has failed to live up to many of the claims and promises he made before. During the latter half of last year, he announced a three-fight plan, which turned out to be impossible since he had only two UFC fights left on his contract. Hence, we can only speculate until there is an official announcement of his fight against Nate Diaz.
