Francis Ngannou has had a really tough couple of life events, which may have broken an ordinary man. After losing his 15-month-old son Kobe in 2024, ‘The Predator’ found himself in another troubling situation when a 17-year-old girl in Cameroon reportedly got into a critical medical state after getting hit by Ngannou’s motorcycle. The former UFC and current PFL champion tried to help her and pay the medical bills, but she could not recover and passed away.

In the wake of such troubling incidents, Francis Ngannou has shared a message for the first time on social media since the news of the accident in Cameroon surfaced in the news. His message comes after the Yaounde High Court released a statement claiming that the girl did not pass away because of the accident, but because of certain medical malpractices.

“A serious medical error was made while taking care of Ms Tsama Manuella in hospital, including an overdose of anesthesia, which directly contributed to her death. We ask that all light be shed on the responsibility of the hospital establishment and the nursing staff,” the court’s release stated. This takes away the chances of Francis Ngannou being subject to legal actions.

Nevertheless, the Cameroonian-French star seemed a bit dejected, given how many tough situations he’s been through, and recalled what Mike Tyson told him about dealing with life. “Life’s difficult paths can sometimes be disturbing,” Ngannou wrote on Instagram.“As [Mike Tyson] once said, ‘When you’re favored by God, you’re also favored by the devil, but remember that God is the one who brings you to the dance.’ The harder you fight to stay up, the harder life fights to take you down.”

Ngannou appeared very remorseful about the whole incident, but due to the legality of the situation, he did not share any exact details about the accident.
