The UFC fight fans are finally getting another chance to witness two of the “Baddest Mother F-ers” in the fight game with Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvial fighting once again on the 1st of June in 2024. The announcement came as a surprise to many, but we can be sure that there will be no complaints from the fans to watch the two slug it out again. However, this time, the fight will take place with different stipulations.

Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal will go at it in a boxing ring for their rematch. It might not involve the full range of a fighter’s skills, but rest assured, it will be slugfest since we are getting a 10-rounder in the 175 lbs division. And with what Jorge Masvidal just told Ariel Helwani on “The MMA Hour”, it looks like fight fans are in store for an absolute war.

Anyone who’s watched the main event of UFC 244 must’ve felt the tension between Diaz and Masvidal after the fight as the scrap ended on a doctor’s stoppage in round one. With the fight ending the way it did, the younger Diaz brother had protested the stoppage. Many even called the fight a fluke, which did not sit well with the Miami OG.

During an interview with Helwani, “Gamebred” didn’t hold back on how he felt about the Cesar Gracie Jiu-Jitsu representative. He said, “I want to beat the f***ing brakes of him. You know, he always said that the referee saved me. I don’t think anybody with common sense would agree. So I think this fight right here puts an end to all that bullsh*t.”

Masvidal claims that he has been training straight-up boxing for 7 to 8 weeks in Las Vegas and looks ahead to hurt the younger Diaz brother when they finally face off inside the boxing ring on June 1st. But just how long has the fight been in talks for? And could it have been the reason for Diaz’s insane callout a few days ago?

Possible reason for Nate Diaz outlandishly calling out heavyweight boxers

Just a few days ago after the boxing fight between Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou, Nate Diaz made some shocking tweets that left fans confused as to what the retired UFC fighter was trying to imply. Diaz went on to give some outrageous takes claiming that he could take on three of the best heavyweight boxers in the world.

In his tweet, he claimed that he would “whoop” the “asses” of boxers, such as Deontay Wilder, Anthony Joshua, and Tyson Fury. Though having left many confused at the time, it seemed that it was Diaz’s own weird way of promoting his upcoming fight against Jorge Masvidal.
