Tyson Fury is known for his boxing prowess more than anything else. However, a recent poll saw him earning the honor of the sexiest sportsman alive, edging past soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo and UFC star Conor McGregor. It appeared that ‘The Gypsy King’ sent a message to his wife, Paris Fury, after learning that he topped the list.

Tyson Fury recently competed against Francis Ngannou in a professional boxing match. ‘The Predator’ took him to the limit as he earned a split decision win. That may not have been the result ‘The Gypsy King’ would have hoped for, but he made up for it with another accolade.

A recent poll through data compiled by ‘illicitencounters.com’, showed 2000 women from the UK rating a few athletes. This rating was based on their looks. UFC megastar Conor McGregor also found himself on the list. ‘The Notorious’ is famous for his dressing sense, and sporting tailored suits more often than not. However, he wasn’t at the top of the list as he grabbed the 10th place.

Meanwhile, soccer legend and Al-Nassr star Cristiano Ronaldo also found himself among the top 10. He is known as a style icon, with one of the most chiseled physiques among all athletes. Similarly, ‘CR7’ also boasts a social media following, which is far bigger than anybody else in the world. Despite this level of popularity, Ronaldo still could not top the list as he was placed in the 5th spot. The top spot belonged to the WBC champion Tyson Fury.

It was the first time he’d ever found his way into a list that rates athletes based on things other than the sport they play. ‘The Gypsy King’ seemed ecstatic after winning the top spot in the rankings as he shared a message for his wife, Paris.

After 2000 women chose Tyson Fury as the sexiest sportsman alive, he sent a light-hearted message to his wife. The WBC champion first communicated to his wife about earning the top spot in the rankings. Fury said, “Paris, just a quick one. I have just been voted the sexiest sportsman alive for the first time.”

Thereafter, he took a jovial dig at Cristiano Ronaldo since most people looked up to him as the most attractive sportsman out there. After the playful banter, he called Paris Fury a lucky woman. “[I] beat [Cristiano] Ronaldo, pipped him out of the post. Get up there. You’re married to the sexiest sportsman alive, according to 2000 women. You lucky lady,” ‘The Gypsy King’ added.

It might have been a nice little surprise for Tyson Fury to be ranked as the sexiest man in sports. Nevertheless, he will have to shift his focus to Oleksandr Usyk since he has a fight against the Ukrainian coming up in 2024. He would want to make up for the lackluster performance against Francis Ngannou this time out. Fury will also defend his title with fans waiting to see who comes out on top.
