Despite being the supremo of the world’s largest MMA organization, Dana White likes to keep himself busy with other sports as well. The UFC CEO has his money on several sports including stakes in the professional football league, the XFL, as well as in gyms. However, one of his most cherished investments is his ‘PBR’ bull, ‘Twisted Steel.’

The UFC CEO owns several bulls for professional bull riding, however, his most treasured beast is the 6-year-old ‘Twisted Steel’. Why, you ask? Well, that’s because that bull is animal equivalent to heavyweight champion Jon Jones as he is yet to be defeated by any bull rider. Nonetheless, ahead of his PBR clash, Dana White has come forward to disclose more about his prized possession and Donald Cerrone.

Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone was supposed to ride ‘Twisted Steel’ as he challenged Dana White that he would be one of the few to have control over the bull. White accepted the challenge and stated that if he rode the bull then he would donate $50000 to any charity of his choice and if he controlled the bull for a period of eight seconds then White would pay $100000 to him.

However, destiny had other plans as Cerrone injured himself while riding a practice bull. He tore his biceps and was rushed to the hospital for immediate surgery. Nonetheless, White did his part as he helped Cerrone get to the best surgeon. Well, now that Cerrone is out of the game, White is well just happy he never rode his beast as he would have mauled him.

While having a conversation with the media at the post-fight presser of UFC St.Louis, White took pride in his bull and stated that he has the power to decimate anyone, “My boy, they put a bounty on them, actually, for this next one. So I don’t know how it’s going to work out or who’s going to end up riding them, but if the rider rides them, he gets $25,000.”

He further added, “And then they’re donating $25,000 to the Cowboys’ charity. And then I’m going to match it, another $25,000. So the rider will get $50000, if he rides them, and $50000 to the Cowboys’ charity.” Cerrone might have injured himself but White is keen on keeping his promise to the cowboy. Nonetheless, Dana White is glad that ‘Cowboy’ injured himself. Why? Let us find out.

UFC supremo is glad that Donald Cerrone injured himself

Donal Cerrone might be one of the best fighters in the UFC but his bull-handling skills can be questioned on top of that ‘Cowboy’ is 40 years old and might be a bit too old to handle these things. His injury from the practice bull is a sign for Cerrone not to mess with ‘Twisted Steel’ who has a record of 35-3 as per Dana White. Interestingly, at the same press conference, White also commented on ‘Cowboy’s condition.

When asked about him, he said, “Not at all, I was actually very excited when he tore his bicep because my bull will murder him, okay? It was insane in the first place, Cowboy’s too old to be doing that sh*t, and now I think he knows he’s too old to be doing it, that was a higher power telling him, you know, you shouldn’t be riding PBR…”

Donald Cerrone has to take a long break from bull-riding due to his injury but he is not a man to back away from challenges. After his surgery, he added that he would come back for the challenge sooner or later. Nonetheless, what’s your take on Dana White’s bull? State your thoughts in the comments below.
