Conor McGregor’s “Leadership” in Question After “Drunk” Video

The entire UFC world was waiting for the year 2023 for one major reason: the return of the UFC superstar, Conor McGregor. The moment elated the fans to learn that McGregor is setting foot in The Ultimate Fighter 31, as a coach. It’s the second time McGregor is getting ready to be the coach of TUF. His first appearance in the reality series was as a coach against Urijah Faber. For the second time, he is going to coach against the former Bellator champion, Michael Chandler.

Recently, updates about the show have been received by the media. It is understood that the reality series has begun its shooting in Nevada. Both McGregor and Chandler went to the location. However, the untamable nature of McGregor started attracting attention soon after the shoot began.

Conor McGregor is setting the wrong example for budding fighters

In a recent video that has been circulating on the Internet, the Irishman was seen recording himself. After watching the video, many believed that McGregor was clearly intoxicated. His mannerisms give away the truth. McGregor has proved several times that no one has the liberty to tell him what to do; however, many have come forward to state that his behavior is pathetic, considering the current position he is in.

The UFC legend Chael Sonnen took to his YouTube channel to talk about the grave mistake McGregor committed. ‘The American Gangster’ said “If you’re gonna be drunk Conor, you shouldn’t be drunk Conor in a mentor position over at the TUF house. They don’t need to see you that way… What part of that do we see as mentorship? What part do we start to judge Conor and say, ‘Okay, you’re not taking this serious,’ … Leadership 101 is not, ‘I come over, put the troops in a tough situation, then hit the door and go to a good one myself.‘”

Sonnen condemned McGregor for setting the wrong example for the budding fighters.

The two-divisional champion’s last match in the UFC octagon was against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. The ringside doctor soon stopped the match after McGregor suffered a broken tibia. This was mentioned as one of the major reasons for the ‘Notorious’s departure from the promotion.

However, the PPV monster was easily able to stay in the limelight. By now, the Irishman has fans all around the globe. While some love his exceptional talent, there are fans who detest the untamable attitude of the Irishman.
