The UFC is one rich organization. It’s only natural for their expenses to be huge, right? But had you expected them to spend $9 million on travel alone? In a recent leak from the antitrust lawsuit, interesting new details have revealed the promotion’s expenses.

While the lawsuit goes on, new revelations show that the promotion’s officials sure spent a ton on their travels. The UFC is a rather worldwide organization, with its events going down in locations like Australia and Abu Dhabi. Does this mean their travel costs could mount? Here’s what they spent on travel.

In a recent report, the costs of the UFC’s five corporate jets were revealed. It showed that the promotion’s yearly costs were about $9 million. This is a staggering amount for an organization of this scale. And that’s only being said because other sizeable companies have lower costs.

The names include Meta as well as Lockheed Martin, all of which barely spend over $1 million every single year. Perhaps it’s the massive fame that Dana White and company have accumulated that keeps them this fortunate. The UFC is valued at over $2o billion as of today. And their merger with TKO, which was worth about $21 billion, has made the promotion even bigger.

Interestingly, CEO Dana White alone has a net worth of about $500 million. That’s no small fortune. However, the insane amount spent on air travel may raise other concerns. Such as the impact it has on the environment, one of the world’s rapidly degrading sources. So the UFC will have to try to curb the expenses.

But for now, the promotion is busy planning its next big pay-per-view. UFC 296 is upon us and it has some of the biggest fights planned. From a welterweight title bout to the potential career comeback of Tony Ferguson. The event will go down in Nevada. Here’s all the hype around the main event.

Colby Covington is all in for the fight

Chaos‘ has been talking trash in his true and natural state as usual. Covington has found a proud supporter in Donald Trump and perhaps that’s what’s made him ramp up his insults against Leon Edwards, the reigning welterweight champion of the UFC.
