The chaotic contest saw the Mexican fighter get a dominant position on the ground as she locked a tight armbar on her counterpart. Chiasson tapped to a fully locked submission. However, no one, including the referee, could pick it up during the live action and it was the replays that highlighted it. Thus, the contest continued.

In the second round, the Fortis MMA athlete turned the bout and had a dominant showing with an aggressive style. Regardless, the third round had something no fight fans could have ever imagined.

Aldana landed a brutal and perfect body shot right into the liver of her opponent from the bottom position, and it shut her down.
