Jake Paul has taken the combat sports world by storm, credits to the stardom he created for himself via content creation. At present, every other MMA fighter will fight the YouTuber turned boxer for clout except those who he calls out. Notably, the latest entry into the tally is Bellator fighter, Dillon Danis, who called out the ‘Problem Child’ after his initial challenge to UFC President Dana White. However, UFC analyst Ariel Helwani lashed out at the middleweight for his rather futile attempt to call out Jake Paul.

Longtime MMA journalist Ariel Helwani took to Twitter to call out ‘El Jefe’ for his desperate attempt at challenging the YouTube megastar. The reporter was quick to respond to Danis’ Tweet and vent out his frustration at the Bellator fighter.

“Guys if you think life sucks right now just think you could have begged for 3 years to fight an 0-0 YouTuber and 3 years later still not be popular enough or good enough to even be considered a worthy opponent for him. Imagine that. In other words, you could be @dillondanis.” Helwani Tweeted.

“Hey guys follow me real quick and I’ll follow you back and pay you 1k. Ffs. Get a grip Dillon. Who acts like this?” the analyst continued.

Ariel Helwani lashes out at Dilon Dannis

However, Helwani wasn’t content with just one Tweet as the reporter showcased his annoyance with Danis. Meanwhile, the reporter sent out a flurry of Tweets towards the fighter and mercilessly trolled him.

Helwani took a jibe at Danis’ initial callout of Jake Paul as the middleweight claimed that he would retire from the sport. The journalist referred to ‘El Jefe’s fighting record as the latter has only two fights to his name in the last 4 years.

“3…2…1 before ol DD [Dillon Danis] texts me hey bro why don’t you like me? Like, I thought we were cool bro Can’t wait for the witty tweet reply, too. And then he’ll call for a truce and then ask me to RT his tweets every two seconds. What a pleasure.”

Helwani then hoped for Danis’ challenge to get accepted, so he didn’t have to face his ‘Stupid’ Tweets and ‘lame social media’ skills. Also, the longtime MMA reporter then pleaded with Bellator CEO Scott Coker to take back Dillon Danis so that he won’t have to hear from Danis anymore.

Ariel Helwani flustered at the Bellator as Danis tried to call out Jake Paul to fight him instead of Jorge Masvidal or other UFC fighters. Furthermore, the New Yorker even agreed to retire from the sport altogether if ‘The Problem Child’ managed to ‘sleep’ him. But Helwani was not taking Danis up on this and gave the fighter a reality check.
