‘Gangster’ Donald Trump’s Entry at UFC 244 Recalled by Dana White: “They Didn’t Want Him Sitting”

Dana White is good friends with the 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump, who is an ardent follower of the UFC as well. The UFC President has shown his support for Trump on multiple occasions. Likewise, Trump, even before becoming the President of the United States, has covered Dana White’s back.

Recently, UFC President appeared on The Pat McAfee Show to promote UFC 273.

During the conversation, White revealed how Trump is a close follower of the UFC and has attended live UFC events when he was the sitting President of the United States. Thus, it created a curiosity among the interviewers about the security, hence they asked White to elaborate on the scene when Trump attended the UFC card.

“They did some background checks,” answered White about the security measures before applauding Trump.

“Trump’s a gangster. Trump never… they didn’t want him sitting on the floor, they wanted him in a box. They didn’t want him. He walked right out of that tunnel and walked right through that arena.”

White enthusiastically added, “Ask anybody that, who was there that night in New York when he came. That was at the event. I’ve been doing this for twenty years. I have never been to an event like that ever. When he walked out of that tunnel, that place went nuts, man. Everybody was standing on their chair, everybody had their phones on, and it was, it was an incredible moment.”

Trump’s arrival at UFC 244 in New York was met with a huge reaction from the crowd. Trump attended the one and only BMF championship fight in the UFC, contested between Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz.

Jorge Masvidal suggested Donald Trump is the real BMF

‘Gamebred‘ before his main event bout with the Stockton native talked about Trump’s presence at the event. Masvidal, who was on a roll in the UFC, mocked his bitter rival Colby Covington as the Trump was coming to Masvidal’s PPV and not Covington’s.

Masvidal offered, “I think real recognize, real… The guy is a bad mother f****, man. The money that he has made, the obstacles that he has conquered, he is a bad mother f**** in his own way.”
