‘He Beat the SH*T Out of Conor Mcgregor’- Khabib Nurmagomedov’s Manager Reignites Rivalry

Khabib Nurmagomedov‘s manager, Ali Abdelaziz, always tends to take a shot at Conor McGregor at every opportunity. Recently, in an interview with TMZ, Abdelaziz revealed his thoughts on a potential rematch between two of the biggest superstars.
He said, “Would beating Conor McGregor mean anything? I don’t know. But I think it would mean a lot for the fans, and I think financially, it’s a huge fight. But we know Khabib. It’s hard to persuade him financially.”
“But my man Dana White and Khabib, they’re going to meet. I think they’re going to meet in Abu Dhabi, and after that, Khabib’s going to come to Vegas and they’re going to go to dinner in Vegas, and we’re going to figure it out. Like I said, this is big boy’s business. I’m going to let them do what they do, and I’ll be a fan,” Abdelaziz continued.

“He beat the sh*t out of Conor, He did everything he wanted to do. He beat him in the striking department, he beat him in the wrestling department, he beat him in the grappling department. He broke his soul. He took his will,” continued the Dominance MMA manager, mocking McGregor.
“We don’t really care about him. Somebody might say $100 million or something like that. I don’t think would persuade Khabib if Khabib did want to fight. I really don’t know. I really didn’t pressure Khabib or ask him about it too much. I let him be,” he concluded on the topic.
Conor McGregor is set to return this month
‘The Notorious’ returns later this month at UFC 257 against Dustin Poirier. Dana White has previously stated he’d like to see the rematch between McGregor and Nurmagomedov, should the fight fall to places.

Should the Irishman get past Poirier, a rematch certainly remains a possibility. But it all depends on whether Nurmagomedov fights again in the UFC or not. ‘The Eagle’ retired from the sport after his sensational win at UFC 254.

Nurmagomedov lost his father in 2020, and many believe it was a blow too big for him to recover. That was the main reason for the Russian’s hiatus from UFC too. But with him meeting Dana White next month, a return might be imminent.

Abdelaziz tends to impact the decision of his clients, especially with Nurmagomedov. But it seems like he is letting his fighter handle business for a change and make his own decision this term.
