Georges St-Pierre is arguably one of the best MMA fighters ever. He reigned as a two-division champion in the UFC, winning the title in the welterweight and middleweight divisions.
‘GSP’ last competed in the UFC back in 2017, when he fought and defeated Michael Bisping via Technical Submission. Even though it’s been over three years since GSP has competed in the octagon, fans still speculate about whether ‘Rush’ would ever return to the cage.
During a recent interview, St-Pierre revealed what White can do if he wants to sign him back. ‘Rush’ said, “No, I’m gonna explain to you if he wants me to fight. He needs to do it like that, that’s how he needs to do it, he needs to hide himself. Wait that I’m in gym training.”

While talking to Joe Rogan, Georges St-Pierre talked about his recent training session with Freddie Roach and revealed how that session reminded him of his MMA days.
“For example, when I was in early with Freddie Roach hitting the pads and getting back because Covid, and everything is closing in Montreal. But now I went back and found my mechanic back. When you train in mixed martial arts and combat sports, you become a different person,” he added.

Would Georges St-Pierre really sign a new UFC contract?
When someone loves something as much as St-Pierre loves MMA, they always feel the itch and attraction to get back to it despite walking away. This happens with ‘Rush’ frequently, and at that moment he revealed he would have signed a new UFC contract if he was offered one.

“Freddie looked at me like, he’s like George, you get the hitch back. I’m like stop saying that and if Dana White would walk in right now in the gym in between rounds. I would sign the contract in a blink of an eye. But then after I go back home, back to my comfort and I’m like hell no.”
We don’t think that Dana White is going to hide in a gym and wait for ‘GSP’ to train, and even then St Pierre’s return is highly doubtful as he has been away for almost three-and-a-half years.
