Henry Cejudo has teased the idea of a comeback a few times. But he seems serious about returning in 2022. In fact, it seems that he is really pushing for a fight against Alex Volkanovski. This has resulted in polarizing reactions from both fans and UFC fighters.

Kai Kara-France wrote on Twitter, “Stay retired mate! Trust me, You don’t want Volk walking you down!”

Askar Askarov quickly jumped in to defend the double champ. He wrote, “@HenryCejudo CCC i’m gonna smash this guy he never gonna talk again see you soon”.

A bout between UFC flyweights ‘Don’t Blink’ and Askar Askarov is expected to take place on March 26 on UFC Fight Night. Hence, both taking a dig at each other is not that surprising.

Kai Kara-France was seen fighting twice in 2021. He managed to knock out both his opponents; his biggest win being against the former champion Cody Garbrandt. On the other, Askarov has never lost a single professional MMA bout. The Russian fighter currently has a 13-0-1 record and aims to pocket yet another victory.

Both the fighters have already started back-and-forth argument arguments on Twitter. So fans expect a massive fight to take place in the octagon. It would be interesting to see which fighter ultimately walks away with a win.
