The Oscar, also known as the Academy Award, is a highly prestigious award in Hollywood. It is the face of success and fame for the personalities across the cinematic universe.  

Talking about success, McGregor is a great athlete with a lifestyle that is on par with any Hollywood star. His cars and endeavors speak the same. But what would happen if the UFC champion, Conor McGregor won an Academy Award? ‘The Notorious’ shared a reel that announces his claim to an Oscar.

Conor ‘The Notorious’ McGregor is a fan favorite lightweight and featherweight champion in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He is amongst the highest paid athletes in the world, and that is reflected by his lifestyle and social media coverage. His insane collection of supercars have the ability to blow anyone’s mind off. He has been sighted multiple times flaunting his Lamborghinis. McGregor without a shade of doubt leads an extravagant life which, like mentioned, is no less than a Hollywood Star.

Recently, Conor McGregor shared a reel on his Instagram story. The story is an edit of the Academy Award winning actor, Will Smith, and Dana White announcing that ‘The Notorious’ won the Academy Award. In the end, McGregor is seen enjoying and celebrating in his red convertible supercar.

In the video reel, Will Smith begins announcing the winner of the Oscar, “And the Oscar goes to-”. Dana White, the president of UFC then screams, “Conor McGregor”. The clip ends with McGregor flaunting his Lamborghini Huracan LP640-4 Performante Spyder.

Jared Leto would love to play ‘The Notorious’

Although, Conor McGregor is a fan favorite UFC fighter, he does lack a biopic. Sooner or later, a movie based on UFC is bound to be premiered. With this in mind, the Oscar winner Jared Leto, has revealed that he would love to play McGregor.

Jared Leto, in an interview said, “If we do the UFC movie, if I was younger, I’d play Conor McGregor. I’ve got the beard”. Subsequently, he added that he might be ‘too old’ to play ‘The Notorious’. On the contrary, this is the age of computer-generated imagery. Leto would be great in impersonating McGregor.
