The middleweight title will hang in the balance when Israel Adesanya faces Marvin Vettori at UFC 263. This will be a rematch between the pair that fought back in 2018 at UFC Fight Night: Poirier vs Gaethje. The fight was a close contest where ‘The Last Stylebender’ emerged victorious by split decision.

A week ahead of their bout, the duo connected with UFC commentator Michael Bisping. Things were going well until Marvin Vettori revealed his game plan. Vettori said, “I’m just gonna wrestle you buddy, I’m just gonna come in and try to hand on the leg and then take you down. And eventually tear you up that’s exactly what I’m gonna do buddy.”

Now, after three years, as their paths have crossed again, ‘The Italian Dream’ believes it’s his destiny to become the UFC middleweight champion, avenging his non-title defeat to the current champion. Whereas Adesanya is hoping to put the last nail in the coffin and end Vettori’s dream by going 2-0 against him.

Adesanya continued his troll, comparing ‘The Italian Dream’ to an ex-girlfriend. The champion said, “He’s like that crazy ex-girlfriend that you dumped and won’t leave you alone. That’ll keep stalking you, scratching your car, coming to your workplace, harassing you.”
