“I Think Kadyrov’s People Have Access to His Account” – UFC World Concerned for Khamzat Chimaev as He Makes Controversial Posts on Chechen Dictator’s Son

Khamzat Chimaev is in trouble for his Instagram posts. The Swedish welterweight has been posting about Chechen supremo, Ramzan Kadyrov’s son, Ali Kadyrov. Chimaev has posted about his training, pictures from his weigh-in, and his victory on his Pro-MMA debut. Fans, however, didn’t like it. Many fans felt that Chimaev was doing it only to be in the good books of the Chechen supremo. Khamzat Chimaev was born in the Chechen republic, but he and his family moved to Sweden when he was 18. The recent string of posts made fans question if he was still worried about his Chechen roots and connections with Kadyrov.

Fans were also not convinced by Ali Kadyrov’s debut victory. They felt he had been handed a victory in a staged fight. Fans called out Kadyrov’s opponent for going on the ground too easily and not taking available opportunities to win the fight. A lot of fans have let their views known on the internet.

Fans Slam Khamzat Chimaev

Khamzat Chimaev’s fans have told him what they felt about him posting about the teenage Kadyrov. A Reddit user wrote, “Khamzat is the official nanny and punching bag.” another user who wasn’t too happy with Chimaev’s post was quick to point out that Chimaev’s account may be hacked. He said, “I think Kadyrov’s people have access to his account.” Fans also took shots at Kadyrov’s opponent, Islam Akbarov. 

Talking about Akbarov a fan said,Lol imagine fighting Kadyrov’s son. I bet you can’t win otherwise your family is gone. it’s like when Putin scored 8 goals because if you blocked his shot he was probably going to murder your family lol,” Another fan talked about Akbarov saying, “I can’t imagine the pressure on the other guy, what if he accidentally kos Kadyrov’s son

Fans also cried foul over the stoppage of the fight. They felt the fight was stopped earlier than it should have been. The fan commented, “Lmao in what world was that a legitimate stoppage? He wasn’t taking any damage from those little taps.”

Another set of fans wanted to see Kadyrov’s son being taken apart in a proper promotion that played fair. He commented, “Hopefully this kid gets delusional from these sandbagged fights and gets signed to a real promotion away from his dad where he gets his head pulled off

Khamzat Chimaev has faced fan ire in the past

This isn’t the first time ‘Borz’ has faced a backlash from fans for his ties with Kadyrov. Earlier this year fans had slammed him for posting an Instagram post wishing Ali Kadyrov on his birthday. Fans had accused Chimaev might not be doing this of his free will and was under pressure. Several other fighters including, Justin Gaethje and Kamaru Usman have been under fire for their affinity towards the Chechen supremo.

Whether Ali Kadyrov won because of his skills or because of his father’s influence remains unknown, but it’s clear that fans are definitely not buying his acumen as an MMA fighter. What’s your take on Ali Kadyrov’s debut victory?
