‘I Wanna Go To WWE’ – Colby Covington Announces Massive Plans Post UFC

The #1 ranked UFC welterweight contender, Colby Covington, has a spectacular professional MMA record of 17-2 (W-L). As far as his UFC career goes, Covington is in his prime, and he is the first pick to challenge the UFC welterweight champion, Kamaru Usman. But what’s next for ‘Chaos’ after he retires from the UFC?

While many UFC fighters don’t know what would be their next step after UFC, some UFC fighters have everything planned ahead of their retirement. And Covington is the latter.

In a recent interview, Covington revealed his plans after he is done with the UFC.

‘Chaos’ said – “I wanna go to WWE. I would like to go and win a world championship over there. There are some great athletes over there. There are some great competitors that I would like to compete against. And I think that’s something I see in my future until I am 40”.

‘Chaos’ won’t be the first UFC fighter to go in WWE. There have been many UFC fighters who have appeared in the WWE. For example, Ronda Rousey, Ken Shamrock, Brock Lesnar, and many more.

Colby Covington on what’s next after his combat sports career

Few UFC fighters have decided to become politicians after their retirement. A prominent example of that is the former UFC light heavyweight champion, Tito Ortiz. Covington also has something similar in his mind.

‘Chaos’ said – “After I am done with WWE and UFC, I would love to get into politics. Maybe, be a governor, maybe look to join a congressional race. You know, I am a fighter at heart, and I wanna fight for people”.

 So far, Colby Covington for sure has had a magnificent UFC career. Also, UFC fans might see him as the UFC welterweight champion in the future. It won’t be surprising if he gets signed by the WWE after his UFC career ends.
