

Former UFC women’s bantamweight champion and combat sports sensation, Ronda Rousey left the entire ‘The Dome at America’s Center’ in St Louis in an uproar. This came after she made a triumphant return to WWE after nearly three years to win the women’s Royal Rumble 2022.
Fans were left amazed by ‘Rowdy’ as they saw her return after pregnancy. WWE and UFC fans couldn’t contain their excitement and jotted their reactions on the social media platform.

The event was a really thrilling affair and ‘Rowdy’s comeback was the cherry on the cake.

How did Ronda Rousey fare at the UFC?
Although Rousey currently competes as a pro-wrestler at the WWE, she had a real start in combat sports at the UFC where she was the inaugural women’s bantamweight champion. Actually, Rousey (12-2) started off as an Olympic Judoka and a rather successful one as she clinched a bronze medal in the 2008 summer Olympics.

Then she went on to switch to MMA as she started her career at Strikeforce. Eventually, she was shifted to the UFC after the promotion’s acquisition of Strikeforce. Rousey was a phenomenon at the UFC, where she remained a champion for a record duration.

In her career at the UFC ‘Rowdy’ headlined six PPV’s, however, she dented her undefeated career against boxer-turned MMA fight Holly Holm in 2015 and then successively lost to ‘The Lioness’ Amanda Nunes in 2016. This was her last UFC appearance as she bid adieu to the promotion.
