The UFC pound-for-pound king Kamaru Usman is arguably one of the greatest fighters to fight inside the Octagon. Usman is also the reigning welterweight champion, and has five successful title defenses under his belt, against some of the best fighters in the UFC.

Edwards and Kamaru Usman will be fighting each other for the second time in their professional careers at UFC 278. The first time they fought, Usman walked away with the unanimous decision win. However, that was back in 2015, and both fighters have come a long way since.

The main event of the upcoming UFC 278 pay-per-view (PPV) has been confirmed for Saturday, August 20th, 2022 at the Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah.
