‘It’s Surreal’ – UFC Debutant Elise Reed Talks About Her Experience of Talking to Daniel Cormier and Dominick Cruz.

The UFC Vegas 32 event is all set to be one of the best UFC events of the year. The event has a plethora of great fights scheduled to happen, with the clash between Cory Sandhagen and T.J. Dillashaw set to headline the event. While most people are excited about that fight, the preliminary card has some impressive fights as well. The women’s flyweight clash between Sijara Eubanks and Elise Reed is one such fight.

The fight will be interesting for Elise Reed as she will make her UFC debut at the event. The fighter turned Pro back in 2019 and has a professional record of 4-0. During a recent interview, the fighter talked about her debut and her experience of talking to MMA legends Daniel Cormier and Dominick Cruz.

She said, “Well the funny thing was we go into the room and it was on zoom. Because I think they are just getting a little background and information for the fight because they are going to be commentators for this weekend. So we go into the room and I don’t really know who I’m gonna talk to.”

“I was like oh, it’s gonna be an interview similar to this and I look at the screen and I’m like oh my goodness, they’re all there. So it was great I mean, It’s surreal right now, obviously being a fan of the sport for so long.”

“I mean I’ve been in martial arts my whole life and Chuck Liddell and Randy Couture I’ve been watching them since I was a kid and talking to some of the greats on an interview about my fight pretty cool, I can’t complain.”

What to expect from the fight between Sijara Eubanks and Elise Reed?

Going into the fight, Eubanks has not been in the greatest of forms, but will still enter as the slight favorite. ‘SARJ’ will also have the height and reach advantage over the relatively shorter Reed.

Reed has shown immense potential when it comes to her striking prowess. However, the fighter has shown weakness against takedown, and that might cause her problems against the larger Eubanks.
