Joanne Wood to Return to UFC Action in March

UFC is stacking up some of the most amazing bouts for the fans this year. The promotion has already set up some amazing events for the year. However, UFC has added one more exciting female fight to its event in March.
The Scottish female fighter, Joanne Wood, will return to action and take on the Mexican Alexa Grasso inside the UFC cage. This intriguing flyweight bout will feature on UFC Fight Night on 26th March 2022.

The event will take place inside the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, and is headlined by a light heavyweight fight between Jan Blachowicz and Aleksandar Rakic.
Earlier, both the female combatants were set to take on each other on November 2o21. However, Grasso pulled out of the fight because of an injury.
She competed only once last and is currently on a two-fight undefeated streak. Meanwhile, ‘JoJo’ is fresh from a loss against Taila Santos and will look for ways to bounce back in the win column with a victory in this bout.

‘JoJo’ is currently number seven in the women’s flyweight division. Meanwhile, Grasso stands at number eleven. Hence, it is an important fight for both female combatants. A win in this fight will take them one step ahead in the UFC title race.
Talking about the fight, Grasso has a one-inch reach advantage, while ‘JoJo’ will come in with a one-inch height advantage. Both the fighters have a decent strike.
