“Keep On Going, You Are a Legend” – Dana White Endorses the Island Boys’ Special Message for Retired UFC Legend

The Island Boys sent out a special message for retired MMA Icon and true UFC legend Chris Leben. The duo has only put out one song that they came up with during a conversation and later on turned it into a full-fledged song, titled “I am an Island Boys”.

In a recent tweet, the hip-hop stars extended a special message towards Leben, who recently opened up his very own MMA facility, ‘The Training Center’.

UFC president Dana White retweeted The Island Boy’s video message for the legendary fighter and also congratulated him on his new venture. White said,Congrats @ChrisLebenMMA!!! Hope your new gym kicks a**!!!!!”

The Island Boys said, ” Hey shout-out to Chris Leben, I heard you are a legend in UFC, you just retired and opened your first MMA gym called ‘The Training Center’, we wanna hype you up, we wanna say you are amazing, we want Dana White to repost this because it is coming from the Island Boys.”

Leben (22-12) competed in the middleweight division and appeared in over 20 bouts over the course of an 8-year-long stint with the promotion. He retired back in 2013, suffering back-to-back heartbreaking losses. After being nearly 10 years removed from the sport, the legendary fighter has now opened up his own gym.

The duo continued, “And your gym is located in San Diego. That’s beautiful right there, man. Keep on going. You are a legend.”

Chris Leben offered his reaction to Dana White and the Island Boys’ message

Leben offered his response to the tweet and also poked fun at UFC star, Sean O’Malley, by dubbing the Island Boys as O’Malley twins. He said, Holy sh** The O’Malley twins still got juice!! Hahaha. Thanks man!”

In a follow-up tweet, he offered clarification on the joke and praised O’Malley for rising up the ranks and becoming a bona fide star. Leben said, O’Malley is a stud!!”
