After throwing his full support behind Donald Trump and helping him get elected President, Dana White is seemingly done with politics. The UFC CEO, of course, is very good friends with Trump, whom he is forever grateful to for helping the promotion at a very low point in its history.

But now that the President-elect is set to take office for the second time early next year, the UFC boss has sworn off politics. Why? Well, White explained it in his signature no-nonsense and bombastic to a reporter from ‘The New Yorker’. “I’m never f***ing doing this again. I want nothing to do with this s**t. It’s gross. It’s disgusting. I want nothing to do with politics,” White declared.

The UFC CEO not only publicly supported Trump, but was also apparently crucial in getting him on Joe Rogan’s podcast, which turned out to be a huge success for Trump going into the election. Not to mention many, many of the biggest UFC stars followed their boss’s lead to endorse the New York native in the 2024 Presidential elections.

But now, it seems White is not going to be as accommodative of future GOP candidates as he has been of his close dear friend, Donald Trump. And the business mogul hasn’t forgotten the favor.

Donald Trump very thankful for Dana White’s support

Dana White was present on-stage at Trump’s first post-election victory speech at Mar-a-Lago in Florida. There the UFC CEO would yet again profusely praise Trump, and thank “the mighty and powerful” Joe Rogan for his endorsement and record-breaking interview with the President-elect.

Not to mention Trump, now the most powerful and perhaps the busiest man in the world, found time to attend UFC 309 at the Madison Square Garden this past weekend. There he was accompanied by prominent members of his cabinet, along with Elon Musk, and was met with thundering applause and adorations from the packed UFC crowd.

There he would also run into the UFC color commentator, and embrace him to indicate just how thankful he was for his support. But now that White himself has vowed to distance himself from politics going forward, there are unlikely to be many more sitting or President-elects attending UFC events after 2028. What do you think about Dana White’s decision to not get involved in politics?
