At UFC 295, Jon Jones is all set to share the Octagon with heavyweight GOAT Stipe Miocic. This would be Jones’s first title defense after usurping the heavyweight throne from Ciryl Gane at UFC 285. Miocic, who is returning after two years of layoff, will enter the Octagon to reclaim his UFC title. But given Miocic’s age and Jones’s form, it wouldn’t be easy.

Regardless, the clash has the caliber to further cement the legacy of both fighters. Familiar with this, the two fighters are leaving no stones unturned to prepare for the biggest fight of their career. But it seems like champion Jones can sneak some time from his busy schedule to contribute to his community. At least that’s what a video that is going viral over the internet shows.

In the short clip, Jon Jones could be seen giving out free fully loaded bags to children of the neighborhood in his Albuquerque. For those unfamiliar, Jones runs his own charity, the CARE PROJECT. And this handout is one of the many incentives that the NGO has undertaken over three years of its existence. The back-to-school season is here, and what better gift it could be than a bag full of books?

Earlier this year, Jon Jones finally made his long-anticipated heavyweight debut, winning the divisional gold. This makes him one of the few eight fighters who have held a UFC strap in two different weight classes. Jones also holds the record for most title defenses, most wins in a champion fight, and most wins over former UFC champions. Not to mention his first title victory came at the age of 23, making him the youngest champion in the history of the promotion.

Without a second thought, ‘Bones’ is the greatest to embrace the sport. But along with his legacy, the Washington native is also known for his troubles outside the ring. From failed drug tests to hit and run, Johnny Bones has done it all. Last year, he also had some jail time after he was arrested on charges of domestic violence. However, in contrast to his past image, this clip is a breath of fresh air, displaying the positive side of Jon Jones.
