Joe Rogan and UFC fighter Marlon ‘Chito’ Vera had a blast in a recent episode of ‘The Joe Rogan Experience.’ From speaking about Vera’s childhood to recent UFC fights, they discussed several things. However, illegal and foul moves were also something’s that both of them discussed.

The discussion started from the Oliveira-Poirier fight at UFC 269 when the lightweight champion grabbed Poirier’s gloves. Later on, they discussed Gillian Robertson and Priscila Cachoeira’s fight at length.

Rogan was heard saying, “How about Gillian Robertson and Priscila Cachoeira? Cachoeira’s putting her fu**king thumb in her eyeball. What the f**k was that?”

He further said, “She should be cut. That is horrible. That’s terrible cheating.”

Vera had similar thoughts and felt that something should have been done about it. He said, “You should be caught by now.”

Rogan continued, “I mean, I don’t generally say that, but that’s terrible cheating. … You literally can’t do that. You will blind someone. I mean, imagine if you got like what happened to Bisping. You lose a fu**ing eye because of that. … She [Cachoeira] literally looked for her eye and stuck her thumb in the eye. You can’t do that. … That is a blatant foul. I mean, it not just a blatant foul, it’s fu**ing cheating. It’s worse than steroids.”

Explaining his own reaction, Vera said, “I was going off when I was watching live. My wife was like ‘what’s going on?’ And I was like ‘this fu**ing b*tch’.”

Rogan further called it “the worst example of blatant cheating.”

Considering that Robertson was doing extremely well in the bout, Rogan called out Cachoeira for the foul. Further, the referee too didn’t seem to do much about it.

Vera further said, “If I am the referee, I’ll punch her right there. … That’s just crossing any fu**ing line you gonna ever have.”

Rogan said, “I know people get crazy when they’re losing, they get desperate, they do wild sh*t. They regret it afterwards. I don’t give a f**k. You can’t do that. You can ruin someone’s eyesight for the rest of their life doing sh*t like that. …”No one should hire you after that.”

Rogan and Vera both were of the opinion that when fighters violate rules and use prohibited hits like eye-gouging, points should be deducted. This might stop fighters from poking their opponent’s eye.

Rogan also said that fighters need to keep their palms closed to avoid intentional or unintentional eye pokes. His message to all fighters is “close your fu**ing hands.”
