The UFC 265 event is set to be one of the most interesting MMA events of the year. UFC 265 will be the fifth UFC event that will welcome a live crowd this year. This event has many great fighters like Derrick Lewis, Ciryl Gane, and Jose Aldo competing at the event. There is also one early preliminary fight that may prove to be a great watch for fans. That fight is the Women’s Flyweight clash between Victoria Leonardo and Melissa Gatto.

Leonardo started her professional MMA journey back in 2018 as she faced Hailey Cowan at The LFA 40 event. She won her debut fight as she defeated Cowan via a 1st round submission. From then on ‘Fury’ moved forward fight by fight and ultimately joined the UFC through Dana White’s Contender Series 36.

She faced Chelse Hackett in the Contender Series and defeated her via a 2nd round TKO. However, Leonardo’s UFC debut did not go as well, as she lost to Fiorot via a 2nd round TKO at UFC Fight Island 8. Therefore, ‘Fury’ would love to win her fight against Gatto and get her first UFC victory this weekend.

Therefore, the fighter will look to continue her undefeated MMA streak and win her UFC debut fight this weekend.

The whole fight might go down to what Gatto has done in her time off. If the fighter has changed her style or improved on it, she might be able to defeat Leonardo. However, if that is not the case, it should be an easy victory for ‘Fury’.
