Ronda Rousey is a name that is widely recognized in the world of mixed martial arts. The 2008 Olympic gold medalist was a force to reckon with in her prime. While Rousey became a celebrity for her performances, she even appeared in several movies, such as Furious 7. Not only did Rousey appear in the movie, but she also taught actor Vin Diesel’s 7-year-old daughter.

Hania Riley Diesel, the 7-year-old daughter of movie star Vin Diesel, was personally being taught Judo by Ronda Rousey. This decision was made by Vin Diesel with regard to his daughter’s future. The Furious 7 star mentioned he feels sorry for anyone who would date his daughter. Diesel said, “First of all, I feel sorry for anyone that has to (date my daughter). I wouldn’t want that on my worst enemy because I’m just that kind of dad. ” 

Diesel had been thinking about this for a long time. He said, “I’ve been thinking about this since the day I cut the umbilical cord, and because of that, I made a decision early on that I was going to do everything in my power to empower her to handle it herself.

The actor credited Rousey and said he wanted his daughter to learn an important lesson. Diesel added, “Because of her ‘auntie’ Ronda Rousey, she is now an orange belt with stripes in judo. I’m dealing with it early. I’m creating a beast, and I want her to be able to say ‘No means no.” 

This is not the first time Rousey is being credited by a prominent name. Singer Demi Lovato once credited Rousey in a way by which the fighter was left honored.

Ronda Rousey was once mentioned in Demi Lovato’s song

Singer Demi Lovato mentioned UFC fighter Ronda Rousey in one of her songs. The singer felt Rousey deserved the shout-out as she was an ambassador of women’s empowerment.

In her tweet, Lovato wrote, “I love the line about @RondaRousey, I had to shout her out bc she truly represents women empowerment #NowPlayingCONFIDENT” 

Following Lovato’s tweet, Rousey expressed her gratitude for being mentioned in her song. The former 135-pound UFC women’s champion tweeted, “Really honored to have @ddlovato include me in the lyrics of her song #Stars in her new album #Confident #nowplayingconfident”

Lovato was quick in responding to the former champion. In her tweet, she heaped praise on one of Rousey’s attributes. The singer wrote, “I had to give a shout out to one of the most #CONFIDENT women I know!! @RondaRousey”

Over the course of her career, Ronda Rousey has achieved a lot of fame and accolades. The fighter is often credited for spearheading the rise of women’s mixed martial arts.
