Recently, they published an article on Chandler landing a role in the new Muhammad Ali remake. They also added that ‘Snuki Schaub’ trolling on Brendan Schaub directed the movie. A person named Bret Welwany wrote all the articles on the websites. The name is a funny mix of the famous MMA journalists, Bret Okamoto and Ariel Helwani.

Meanwhile, on the real side of MMA, Chandler is fresh from his recent loss against Justin Gaethje. And while it is unknown when Chandler will return to action, fans are eagerly waiting for the same.

What Lies Next for Michael Chandler?

‘Iron’ made his UFC debut with a stunning first-round knockout win at UFC 257. He has an amazing professional fighting career of 22-7 under his name. He has ten knockout and seven submission wins on his MMA resume.

After a 1-1 UFC record, Chandler went to war against Justin Gaethje at UFC 268. It was a much anticipated lightweight bout. Both men delivered an entertaining performance at the event. Unfortunately, Chandler lost the bout.

However, the loss isn’t stopping ‘Iron’ from calling out fighters in the division. Recently, Chandler posted a tweet on his official Twitter account, calling out the former two-division champion Conor McGregor.

Interestingly, the Irishman acknowledged the call out and was quick to respond. He wrote, “I’m down at some stage for sure. Great fight the other night Mike, congrats!”

This is one good fight to make as both the fighters are on a two-fight skid in their UFC career. A win in this fight will mean a great comeback for the lightweight combatants.
