Daniel Cormier has revealed an interesting story about Brock Lesnar. The UFC Hall of Famer shared a story about the WWE star from the pandemic. The pandemic presented a tough challenge for the sporting world as fans were not allowed in the arenas and the stadium. The athletes too had to perform in an empty stadium to their disliking.

Daniel Cormier had a conversation with Max Holloway regarding the pandemic situation. The UFC commentator shared a story that the WWE superstar shared about leaving the sport.

Daniel Cormier shared a story that Brock Lesnar told him

The former UFC double champion revealed what he Brock Lesnar thought about fighting during the pandemic. The times were certainly tough in the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic as no fans were allowed inside the arena.

‘DC’ said to Max Holloway, “You know what Brock Lesnar told me?” The former rival added about Lesnar, “Brock Lesnar said he had his first wrestling match in front of nobody at a high school gym. And he said, when he went back to the WWE at the end of the pandemic and he was wrestling in front of like they had those screens. There was nobody there. He goes, ‘I’m done. I did not get into this for this. I want to be in front of a crowd.'”

Additionally, the UFC commentator added, “It’s like hard to deal with when you got to go back to no crowd.”

Brock Lesnar spoke about his high school days with Daniel Cormier

The WWE superstar revealed that he came from a poor family. ‘The Beast’ is still in awe of the stardom that he has achieved in the combat sports world and the WWE.

The former UFC champion added, “I have to pinch myself all the time to remind me you know, I’m just a poor dairy farmer kid from Webster South Dakota. And it’s pretty crazy where you and I ended up in this world.”
