The WWE fans are pumping up for WrestleMania 40, which will take place in Philadelphia. Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson will make his in-ring return after more than a decade in a tag team match. It seems like professional wrestling’s biggest spectacle has not only fans excited about it but UFC Hall of Famer Daniel Cormier too.
Since the WWE-UFC merger, there has always been a chance of a crossover between the two promotions. And given that Daniel Cormier’s MMA career is far behind him, ‘DC’ has hinted at making a return during WrestleMania 40 weekend. However, it may not be the kind of return fans want to see.

The fight stipulated had some MMA elements, with a cage, and to keep those elements intact, WWE brought in Daniel Cormier to act as the special guest referee in the match. But it seems like the Hall of Famer wanted to do more.
