The man of the moment, during a conversation about Brock Lesnar, emphasized his strength and his ability to fight, even at this time. Rogan in the middle of the conversation brought forward the reason for Brock Lesnar’s downfall. Rogan narrated “ he was a real deal man and a lot of people don’t give him enough credits and there’s a problem with the diverticulitis. So he had to get a long section of his intestine removed I believe…I believe it was his intestine”. Hulk Hogan agreeing with this statement of Joe Rogan stated “Well he eats everything he hunts that’s the deal, You know he’s always out hunting stuff.

Following this Rogan went further to state the reasons behind Lesnar’s unforeseen disease. he states that Anthony Bourdain told him that diverticulitis is mysterious and it can even happen from a seed. Rogan quoted “ I don’t know how you get diverticulitis, Anthony Bourdain once told me, it’s a real mystery because you could actually get it from a seed, like a seed, the seed gets stuck it’s not like people say, oh he ate too much meat, that’s not necessarily the case.”

Joe Rogan acknowledged Lesnar’s strength as he stated that even though he was suffering from diverticulitis, Lesnar still came back into the fighting business and fought with Alistair Overeem. Although he ultimately lost the fight, his unwavering determination deserved commendation.

Brock Lesnar’s fight with diverticulitis

Brock Lesnar’s battle with diverticulitis began in 2009, possibly triggered by extensive painkiller use to extend his demanding fighting career. Initially seeking medical help in Canada, he found himself bedridden without a proper diagnosis due to the lack of essential medical equipment. Frustrated by the lack of progress, Lesnar traveled to North Dakota where he finally learned about his condition. Diverticulitis had a profound impact on his life, as it led to a severe and life-threatening case that required immediate surgery. During surgery, doctors found leaked feces, triggering a dangerous immune response in his body. The first surgery succeeded, but in 2011, the illness resurfaced, leading to another operation, removing much of his colon.
