One should look no further than the time Rousey went to Dunkin Donuts with her friend. In a surprising turn of events, Rousey and her friend ordered 44 donuts and 2 chocolate milk at a random turn of events.

Rousey wrote in her book, “But here, sitting at a Dunkin’ Donuts as the counter clerk mopped the floor around us, I had found the freedom I had been looking for. For the first time in as long as I could remember, I felt like I had control.”

Rousey revealed how she channeled this surge of motivation

‘Rowdy’ revealed how she used the motivation she received from the moment. The former UFC champion said, “I love judo. And I want to do judo because I love it. I want to do it for me. The realization washed over me. It was a feeling I hadn’t had in a long time.” This turned out to be a lucky moment for Rousey as she won an Olympic bronze medal in Judo at the 2008 Summer Olympics.

Moreover, she added, “The next day, I went to practice because I wanted to. I trained harder than I had in a long, long time. Not only did I look forward to training, but I wanted to train as much as possible.” After her judo achievements, ‘Rowdy’ joined the sport of MMA, and the rest is history.
